Naughty Nuns and Malevolent Monks?
Year 7 have been investigating the Tudors and the different interpretations of them. Recently we have looked at Henry VIII and why people tend to remember the fat, angry Henry. If you want to watch the Horrible Histories song that we watched you can see it here. As part of our investigation we have also looked at Henry closing the monasteries. Many thanks for your link from this article to Eynsham Online. The URL for Eynsham Abbey has just changed following a site update; could you please adjust your link? It’s now http://eynsham-pc.gov.uk/processtype_tmm.asp?MenuHeadID=56&ProcessType=34&MenuSubID=6
There’s also a new archaeological trail for the Abbey precinct, described at http://eynsham-pc.gov.uk.1096soon2b.co.uk/processtype_tmm.asp?MenuHeadID=109&ProcessType=41&MenuSubID=153
Thanks again.
