Year 7 have been investigating the Tudors and the different interpretations of them. Recently we have looked at Henry VIII and why people tend to remember the fat, angry Henry. Your homework is to write an imaginary report from one of the investigators that Thomas Cromwell sent out: Write 1 or 2 paragraphs from a report on a monastery. It must include evidence of rules being broken, but must be appropriate for school – nothing that would embarrass your mum! It should include lively interesting description. It could include evidence that the report was not completely fair. You could start it with: Yesterday I visited Eynsham Abbey.
