Staying safe

This week’s form time activities are adapted from the excellent and award winning ‘Ghost Street’
Using a set of missing word headlines students explore some key road safety facts and figures. I did it as a paired activity with students writing their words onto the class whiteboard.

Something for form time…

Here are some resources for stimulating discussions and active learning in form time. The first one looks at the Costa Concordia disaster and looks at the rights and wrongs of ‘women and children first’. The second uses the new silent film ‘The Artist’ as a way into discussions and games about non-verbal communication.
